Powers of Chief Veterinary Officer
62The Chief Veterinary Officer may, in his or her discretion,
(a)
direct an inspector or any other suitable person to investigate any alleged reportable condition,
(b)
cause tests or other scientific investigations to be made with a view to determining the nature and source of a reportable condition using the methods prescribed by regulation, or
(c)
take measures for the suppression, limitation or treatment of a reportable condition.
